first opened in 1995 in Zapata, Texas.

Beginning at an early age, I discovered that my best work involves nature themes with a side of fantasy themes, on occasion. I have continued to learn and work with many different mediums to create art on a variety of surfaces. I'm currently using pastels for most of my work and spend most of my days researching each subject and planning the next painting.
With my studio here in the gallery, I'm always busy greeting guests and making art in some form.
I have an extensive client base. One of my most requested artworks is pet portraits. I enjoy bringing a loved one to life using pastels to achieve a softer, more intimate portrayal. I welcome commission work, as long as it does not include a human, as my expertise is birds and animals.
Another frequent request is hummingbirds. The extensive variety of hummingbirds provides many opportunities for color variations during flight, at rest, or hiding near the blossoms. As an avid birdwatcher, it is a joy to share my love of birds with others.
So, enough about me, let me tell you how much I thoroughly enjoy seeing the creative works of artists who also neighbors and friends of all ages and backgrounds. I have the privilege and pleasure of actively displaying and promoting their artwork in the gallery. With so many types of art, including sculptures, metal works, wire art and more, the artists are ever changing!
